THE ENGINEERING WORKSHOP

Sometimes the solution
is a tool of my own.

Not every recurring problem needs new software. But when process friction, missing visibility or integration gaps keep returning, I enjoy building something measured and useful. This is my growing catalogue of applications, scripts and design explorations.

A workshop, not a product pitch.

Each entry has its own maturity label: operational work, personal-use tools, alpha experiments or architecture concepts. I care as much about making those differences clear as I do about the technology itself.

01 / APPLICATIONPersonal use

Personal MSP operations cockpit

ADHMSP · Engineering workflow companion

A better line of sight across a busy engineering day.

A locally hosted companion interface created to bring together project context, task planning, time review and operational visibility around an existing professional-services system. It is a personal working tool, not a replacement for the system of record or a company-wide product.

TenantBridge

Microsoft 365 cross-tenant migration exploration

Learning what a trustworthy migration workflow really requires.

An alpha application exploring two-tenant authorization, account discovery, user-to-user mapping and queued Microsoft 365 data movement. The experimentation includes OneDrive copy and validation patterns; it is not a completed Exchange, SharePoint or Teams migration product.

04 / INDEPENDENT PROJECTExperimental live platform

AI Threat Observatory

Multi-model risk research and independent reporting

A technical experiment in comparing independently attributable AI analysis.

A self-hosted observatory bringing together evidence notes, versioned scenario definitions, historical visualizations, independently attributed model reports and an MCP-compatible submission interface. It is an exploratory research platform, not a validated predictor of future catastrophes.

Technical details & methods
  • PHP/MySQL dashboard, evidence and report handling
  • Scoped model-provider assignments and submissions
  • MCP tools to read assignment state and publish authorized responses
  • Historical charts, scheduled workflow design and secure administration

TOOLS / APPROACH

PHP · MySQL · JavaScript · MCP · cPanel

05 / INDEPENDENT PROJECTPublic web service

SecurePass

Secure password sharing · Dedicated web service

A better alternative to passing credentials around in plain messages.

A separate password-sharing project within my personal lab, created around a simple problem: sensitive access details often need to be transferred without becoming another ordinary email or chat message. The service has its own public web address. Its current features and access conditions are presented on the service itself.

Project focus
  • Purpose-built workflow for sharing sensitive access details
  • Separates credential transfer from general-purpose conversations
  • Independent web destination alongside my other personal engineering experiments

AREA OF WORK

Credential sharing · Security-focused workflow · Web utility

06 / APPLICATIONAssessment workflow

AI governance discovery portal

Structured surveys and organizational tool inventories

Collect better inputs before writing policy.

A web questionnaire workflow designed to reduce scattered email responses during AI-governance discovery. The focus is the process of identifying tools, usage patterns and questions that inform eventual policy decisions.

Technical details & methods
  • Centralized structured response capture
  • Repeatable question flow for governance discovery
  • Organized inputs for tool inventories and stakeholder review
  • Separation of survey data from approved policy decisions
TOOLS / APPROACH

Web application · Forms · Structured data · Governance workflows

07 / PRODUCT ARCHITECTUREConcept / design

A(m)I Secure

Modular governance, risk and approved enforcement concept

From policy documents to evidence-backed decisions.

A personal architectural concept for a managed cycle of obligation mapping, policy, system observations, gap assignment, approved change and read-back verification. It is a staged design direction rather than a proven production compliance system.

Technical details & methods
  • Multi-tenant policy/risk/evidence design
  • Observe → propose → approve → implement → verify cycle
  • Modular approach to security and AI governance
  • Separation of engineering assurance and legal or formal certification

08 / SCRIPT / REPORTINGUsed in engineering

Microsoft 365 / Intune discovery scripts

Read-only tenant readiness and configuration reviews

Understand the environment before changing it.

PowerShell and Microsoft Graph discovery flows to inspect identity policy, licensing, enrolled devices, authentication methods, compliance settings, groups and policy assignment readiness. Findings inform pilot scope and deployment sequence.

Technical details & methods
  • Read-only collection before proposed changes
  • Identity, access and device management coverage
  • Configuration findings in reviewable output
  • Inputs for deployment readiness and decisions
TOOLS / APPROACH

PowerShell · Microsoft Graph · JSON · Entra ID · Intune

09 / SCRIPT / VALIDATIONUsed in engineering

BYOD / Conditional Access validation tooling

Policy comparison and mobile protection diagnostics

The policy on paper needs to match the policy in the tenant.

Targeted scripted checks and remediation planning around application protection policies, mobile contact sharing, device-compliance requirements and conditional-access scope. Work supported real pilot and rollout troubleshooting.

Technical details & methods
  • Inspect configured iOS / Android app protection
  • Compare expected requirements with actual settings
  • Support targeted modifications with validation
  • Record policy scope and known usability impacts
TOOLS / APPROACH

PowerShell · Microsoft Graph · Intune MAM · Conditional Access

10 / SCRIPT / DEPLOYMENTDeployment preparation

Bulk identity and security onboarding workflows

User inventories, group mappings and import preparation

Repeatable operations are safer than ad-hoc clicks.

Microsoft Graph and CSV-oriented preparation tools for aligning eligible users with security groups and cloud protection deployments. Scripted import plans included validation, duplicate handling and staged checks; live product onboarding was also performed through approved administration workflows.

Technical details & methods
  • Export and filter eligible user inventories

TOOLS / APPROACH

Python · Security assessment concepts

Small tools.
Serious engineering.

I am not trying to turn every project into custom software.

The right answer is often a configuration change, a documented process or an existing service. I build where the available tools leave a recurring visibility, integration or workflow gap that matters enough to justify the extra ownership.

I try to design for the operator who comes after me: clear boundaries, understandable states, configuration over assumptions, logs that mean something and a realistic account of what the software does not yet do.
